February wedding at the most beautiful 4-star de vere tortworth hotel and wedding venue.

De Vere Tortworth is a historic manor house located in the South Cotswolds, just 30 minutes away from Bristol and conveniently located only 5 minutes off the M5 motorway. It's easily accessible and pet-friendly, boasting both a spa and an indoor swimming pool. The moment you step through the front door, especially on a chilly February evening, a sense of peace washes over you. The amazing interior evokes the warmth and charm of a Harry Potter-like castle, complete with a fantastic restaurant, cozy bar, and charming old libraries where a wandering cat (who lives at the venue) adds to the ambiance. It truly is an amazing place for your wedding day.

As a second photographer, I had the opportunity to capture the beautiful wedding held at this incredible venue in South Gloucestershire. De vere Tortworth is a perfect wedding venue if you are looking something located close to Bristol and Cotswolds AONB if you enjoy some amazing nature!

Take a look and imagine how your own wedding day could unfold in such a magical setting!

Groom's preparations and group photos at the Atrium Bar, De vere tortworth court

Together with the main photographer, we started early in the morning, documenting the preparations of both the groom and bride. My focus was on the groom, who was getting ready in the modern part of the hotel. Since his room wasn't the most spacious, he struggled with his bow tie, prompting us to head to the main building in search of someone who could assist him. By chance, we passed by the amazing Atrium Bar located in De Vere Tortworth.

The Atrium Bar is an old yard covered with a glass roof, converted into a bar with an Italian-like vibe, especially noticeable in the evening. Wedding guests headed there straight after the wedding breakfast, allowing the venue staff to prepare everything for the evening party.

Returning to the groom and his struggle with the bow tie, we finally found a person who managed to help him. He happened to be a violinist at the wedding! So future grooms, if you're considering wearing a bow tie at your wedding, it might be a good idea to learn how to tie one beforehand to save yourself some nerves!

Wedding ceremony at the orangery in de vere tortworth

"Catering for up to 90 guests, The Orangery is completely self-contained with its own reception area, bar, and toilets, making it a suitable choice for an intimate civil ceremony, wedding breakfast, or a lavish function." - This is what we can read on the De Vere Tortworth Court website.

I can only add that the place is extremely beautiful and full of natural light thanks to the glass roof. The couple decided to hire a violinist who entertained guests before the ceremony started. He also played while the bride made her entry. All the flower arrangements were done by the very talented Katie from Katie Oliver Bloom. If you are looking for a florist for your wedding, you must check her Instagram profile!

Now, have a look at the below gallery showcasing some of the photos from the ceremony, couple and group portraits, and reception so you know what you can expect from your day at De Vere Tortworth.
